Khao Chi Chan is a large 109-meter high image of Buddha sculpted onto the face of a limestone cliff not far from the seaside town of Pattaya. The image was sculpted in honour of the His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand for the 50th anniversary (golden jubilee) to celebrate the king’s accession to the throne.
