Pattaya Night Bazaar is one of the main tourist markets situated in central Pattaya. At this market the stalls are set out in rows covering nearly 5000 square meters of space and the whole area is covered by a large span metal roof so this market can be visited whatever the weather. There are a lot of stalls here and a quite expansive variety of products although as you walk around you will find a lot of repetition with many stalls selling the same or similar products. This market is definitely aimed at the visitor with souvenirs and clothing being the main items on sale. Be prepared to bargain as big discounts can be secured from the opening asking price, so be prepared to haggle! In recent years Thailand has been cracking down on the sale of counterfeit goods with varying degrees of success, but if Pattaya Night Bazaar is anything to go by then they are failing miserably at this task! Every other store at this market is selling some form of counterfeit clothing and this is the place to come if you want to pick up some brand name items (although they will be counterfeit) at knock-down prices. Although called Pattaya Night Bazaar this market is opened in the day time as well.
