Silverlake is a large vineyard just a 25-minute drive south from Pattaya and can make a pleasant excursion out of Pattaya for an hour or two. Arrival at the vineyard is made at the reception buildings which have been constructed in a faux French vineyard style. The elevated terrace here gives some nice views over the vineyard and the lake beyond, There is also a vineyard shop selling grape juice, grape cookies and dried grapes as well of course as Silverlake Vineyard wine (which is quite pricey and starts around 1100 baht per bottle) The main attraction at Silverlake will be to take the trolly bus vineyard tour, this is offered in two packages:<\/p>\n

Package 1 – Vineyard and grape juice plant<\/h5>\n

The trolly bus will take you around the vineyard grounds where you can see and get up close to the grapevines. If you are visiting in the right season you will get to see the grapes growing on the vines, shortstops will be made at a couple of attractive spots along the route for photo taking. A stop will also be made at the grape juice bottling plant where you can see the bottling process. A free bottle of grape juice is included in this package. The package tour will take around 25 minutes<\/p>\n

Package 2 – Vineyard, grape juice plant, winery and wine tasting<\/h5>\n

This package is the same as Package 1 but with the extension of the winery tour and wine tasting. Two free glasses of wine are included in the wine tasting.\u00a0The package tour will take around 35 minutes<\/p>\n

Silverlake Entrance Fee<\/h4>\n

There are no entrance fees to the reception buildings at Silverlake but you will need to buy a ticket if you want to take one of the two trolley bus package tours which will show you around some parts of the vineyard.<\/p>\n

Getting to Silverlake Vineyard<\/h4>\n

Silverlake Vineyard situated about 15km from Pattaya. If you do not have your own transport then you can charter a taxi in Pattaya for a half-day or full-day to visit this attraction (usually worth combining with other attractions in this area) Alternatively Travel Hub offers a full-day guided tour of some of Pattaya’s main attraction<\/a>s\u00a0<\/a>which also include Silverlake Vineyard.<\/p>\n

There are other attractions in this area of interest which include Nong Nooch Gardens, Khao Chi Chan<\/a> (which is right next door!) Wiharn Sian Anek Kuson Sala<\/a>, Wat Yanasangwararam so if you are visiting combine with other attractions to make a full day out!<\/p>\n
